Got an email to our group today that had threatening undertone to it......so I sent an email back that said I had done my job to the best of my ability without deviating from the parameters as best I could. If they thought I wasnt doing my job even though it was towards the group, they knew where my desk was and they could come fire me.

The politics of everything is just so aggravating........overload then complain when they start buckling under the pressure and keep the hiring freeze on plus cut their pay and then threaten them when they're so overloaded they wanna give up or tell off the Supervisor that dont their *** from a whole in the ground.

Me too, but I'd probally go talk to the person who sent it instead to find out what the undertones were about.

I guess I believe in positive leadership over negative thretening over tones....I know what it is about but is laced in neptism and information systems tracking parameters developed and implmented in the system that cause hits and misses.....try explaining it to them and u not being MIS in theoretical terms and they look for blame.....because u do not have the degree....later find out u were right all along when the find the tecnical issue and ignore the fact that if they had worked on it when you explain it....they could have gotten more accurate results earlier and saved time and money by investigating the variables

Nah its a State job and believe me.......if they put my back up against the wall I will come out fighting....no doubt about it.....but every person I work with does their best to get done the overwhelming expectations they are looking to achieve......but am thinking of looking into private industry and non profit
