I buy a couple lbs when its on sale, and just throw it in the freezer. Pull a stick out a couple days before I need it. I suppose you could foil the stick around the wrapper, but I don't seem to have any problems

Place the stick of butter unwrapped in a wet, ultra thin glass dish, place it in the back of the freezer, and if you can adjust the temp. to the coldest setting.

Costco, buy 10 pounds and you don't need butter for six months.

Just leave it in its box, and stick it in the freezer. Nothing fancy to it. Pull it out a couple days early and let it thaw. No biggie, nothing special.

Butter freezes very well. I've never seen it separate.
