This piece was written by the late Murray Rothbard, originally part of "An Austrian Perspective on the History of Economic Thought, vol. 1, Economic Thought Before Adam Smith." It is read here by historian/author Jeff Riggenbach. It discusses an important historical event in France in which excessive taxation/regulation begat a violent revolt.

This is important because we face similar problems today, and they need to be solved by more rational minds than are currently employed by the U.S. regime.

So far the backlash has been aimed at illegal immigrants but hey, look at France circa Louise the XV.

Imagine if Michelle Obama told us to eat cake when all of us were starving! I would be the first with a gun in my hand ready to hand them their *****! So far though I can not see a reason for armed rebellion, yet! The way things are going though it may take an armed insurrection to deal with the problems facing our government.

Worst is the possibility that what rises out of the ashes is worst than what we had before (like a ruler who runs things in the vein of Stalin!).
