when my children were young we baked aprox. 100 dozen cookies during the month of december for the christmas holidays. so yes I'd agree fresh baked is best oh, and they helped and all know how to bake from scratch - or at least have some idea - often as not we used our own pumpkin that we cooked down & froze in october for some of that gingerbread, peanutbutter/oatmeal, and choc. chip were favs, so were iced sugar w/ sprinkles

the frosted pink & white animal cookies! Warm, fresh Mrs. Fields chocolate chip cookies, mmmmm, smell them long enough and then have a bite...............one of my favorite sensual experiences!!!!

Those chocolate no bake cookies are awesome!! Also like the: frosted orange peel cookies frosted butter cookies those one's grandma would make with the butterscotch chips and chow mien noodles peanut butter captain crunch cookies peanut butter no bake cookies chocolate covered peanut butter balls those little cake cookies you get at wedding receptions haystacks those almond cookies they have at Chinese restaurants fortune cookies Just to name a few
