There is a fairly new TV station in Houston called Inmigrante TV. The network is in spanish (which I don't speak) but they also have a website . http://inmigrantetv.com/

The TV version flashes pics of Obama, protesters, and professes help for immigrants here illegally.

I used Google translate to view the website in English. Many of the statements were false. There does appear to be an expectation that Obama will grant them "justice" soon, perhaps just after the next election.

Is this TV show in your area?

The following is a translated quote from the website.

"The ultra-conservative groups in the United States are the main drivers and funders of positions on illegal immigrants , especially those of Latin origin . State laws enacted in some states against the undocumented claim that they believe them to stop immigration in their states, but they have not thought about that many Hispanics do the work that others do not want to do and contribute to economic growth and development.

I think that anyone who openly helps illegals get anything other than deported should be thrown in the pokey. I am over the whole immigration thing, we have too many U.S. citizens here who are unemployed and don't need foreigners coming here taking jobs for wages Americans can't work for. round em up, push em out, rawhide!

At every opportunity, Spamish News slams US Citizens. (I speakie spanglish.)

What the Illegals don't understand is, if they are granted amnesty, they will be out of work just like the Citizens and legals.

New Illegals will take their place.

On the Mexico side, here, since you have to have a passport to tourist in Mexico, the legal workers who live in Mexico can't get work there.

Jobs here are tight and a friend of mine can get legals to work for 40.00 a day mowing yards. He has them sign sub-contracting cards and they agree to the wage.

Another quote from the website:

"The dubious past of the author of SB 1070

Fraud , corruption, racism and even domestic violence"

(Referring to Arizona senator Russel Pearce"

I thought, perhaps incorrectly, that it was illegal for foreign nationals to attempt to affect US legislation.
