Hi Tim and Mary... I've been quite busy lately, but took the time to drop in tonite... How is everybody? HOT and you? Had to hide in the house with AC on for the first time this season. I guess I'm spoiled....don't mind the rain...and have been working most of the hotter days until now.... we have MORE rain then we need I am blessed to live in a higher area, and although there has been flooding all around me, I have been able to appreciate rain, rather than extreme heat, BUT within the last 15 minutes, the sky has gone from blue to black.... and the table on my deck is on its side.....even tho the umbrella was down....... I don't remember this being in the forecast...... If I am suddenly gone again, the power will have gone out... and its coming my way

I turned on the weather channel....they just said that Omaha is getting 65 mph gusts.....and that they will "keep us updated on the storms as they press East..." good luck, guys, it's headed your way

I turned on the weather channel....they just said that Omaha is getting 65 mph gusts.....and that they will "keep us updated on the storms as they press East..." good luck, guys, it's headed your way

Nary a word about the one I am experiencing as we speak....could it be that "they" were caught by surprise as well?

The temp here has dropped 17 degrees in the past 30 minutes...tyhat is the good part...but it happened awfully fast...

still sunny, but the locust are going nuts Don't have locusts here, could it be cicadas? Don't have them either

I lied. Went outside to check the water level (appears the same) and guess what I heard going nuts? Yep, just like you. Guess I can't hear them inside, only when I stepped outside.
