I've been on this site for a few years now off and on and when I am on I like to hang around the forums. I have seen topics come and go. Some are popular and develop into several parts and others die out with less than one page. I was just wondering, what kind of topics do you think YOU are most likely to respond to? What topics do you ignore without a second thought?

Depends on who posted the topic, what the topic is, and my mood.

I meant to say also that timing and popularity of the poster plays a big part in responses :)

I like the game forums alot it keeps my mind active, and I definetly stay out of the political forums and if I am in a frisky mood the sex forums, depends on my mood.

It also depends on the time of day.

I avoid long writing but if it was attractive I would read it

For me it depends on whether or not I can actually read the topic....sometimes there are no real sentences or punctuation or paragraphs. I don't want to sound like a member of the grammar police but if I only recognize every third or fourth word, I'm not going to bother reading it. ( I have enough headaches )

The time of day is part of it too and who is on-line. If it is someone who can take a joke, I will post and have fun. Some people are just a stick-in-the-mud or they totally avoid my posts on their threads so I won't post there.

I don't post much at all but if it's on the front page and sounds interesting I might, but only if I'm bored. Other than that I posted a few times in the sex and intimacy forum for a few laughs then realized that nearly every topic had the same 3 or 4 guys posting over and over again.

Sometimes Mingle won't let me post. I tried telling them about it, but they don't know why.

I must have missed your topic. I remember back when you couldn't keep up with them.

I typically try to just post in the general discussion area or the dating. I try to avoid the intimacy board. Other than that I'll post on anything that grabs my attention. as long as it isn't a crazy amount of pages long. over 4 and I probably wouldn't reply. I just type to type half the time. I never really get any responses to what I say. It's probably my grammar or wording or I'm just a flat out bore

I am like that somewhat. If I can't make heads or tails of the topic I will go on to the next. I can't say I reply to everyone who posts in my topics but I do read all of them.

I read your posts.. I can make them out.....but your picture does scare me.

I guess what I am trying to ask is, what are some subjects you would reply to? What are those you avoid? Are there any particular subjects you just will not touch with a ten foot pole? I, for example, typically don't post on the religion or political threads because those topics are prone to confrontations.

Way back when, this site had the topics turning over so fast that you couldn't keep up, like Totage said. We had a lot of fun in the threads then, now I just post in there for fun....or to hit on the sexy ladies. ( j/k )
