Well just meeting someone does cost. Street Festivals are an inexpensive way to meet folks. However, the couple of drinks it usually takes to loosen my tongue has gotten expensive it seems. Someone like me that lives outside of the city also has to figure in the expense of fuel to get to the events.

Then let's assume that you do meet someone. A few "cheap" dates aren't hard to come by. A walk in a park and a stop at an ice cream stand isn't that expensive. Shoot one of the best dates I had involved sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and the zoo. All in all (including the gas to get there) it was still under $25.

The trick is, be creative. It's not important to most women to do something "fancy" on a date. It's important that you be respectful, listen, and just be yourself.

Of course, I could be wrong, and usually I am.
