I think I might use the old "The World Ends Tomorrow" thing for some desperation sex at the local pub. Soooo, condoms, stocking up.

I believe I will die on december twentyfirst two thousand twelve. Does that mean you want us to wish you good luck ... ? |

"...and shall ride forth on the back of a serpent, and the eyes shalt be red with the blood of living creatures, and the horizon will be lit like day at night, with the flame of fires of a thousand and one million burning souls of eternal desire, and the Whore of Babylon shall rise from her grave, and throughout the land there will be a great rubbing of parts."
Extra points to those who guess correctly where this or the like of this (I tried to quote exactly, but I did it from memory) first appeared. |

I really do. and why would I need luck? haha. I think the insinuation is that every successful suicide needs some intervention by fate. The guest arrives late, or the nicotine dosage is overcalculated, or the bell of the toaster went when you were holding the gun to your temple for practice. The maid slammed the window shut when you were contemplating to jump, the train was five minutes ahead of schedule, and the rope was ten inches shorter than you'd thought. Indeed, you do need luck. |

because the digits add up to nine.
nine pops up in my life like crazzzy. and since people are always saying the world's going to end on that date, I don't think it will. but perhaps it'll end for me. |

I think I might use the old "The World Ends Tomorrow" thing for some desperation sex at the local pub. Soooo, condoms, stocking up. Why use condoms? Because, like all doomsday predictions, there isn't anything going to happen. Hence condoms. |

I am being a total ******* now, but how do you digitize "December"? If you make it 12, then 2012 12 21 adds up to eleven. So you are safe. That's the good news. |

Aside from that, in every year of your life, there has been at least seventeen days in each year, that the digits added up to 9 (nine) and you survived all those hundreds of days. Don't believe the pessimists. Or the doomsday sayers. You will survive just nice, fine and dandy. |

I could find nines every second of my life. but that date is huuge. apparently. so maybe I won't die. but I still believe something huge will happen. truuust me. I'm never wrong. (: I would suggest doing a little reading up on "Self-Fulfilling Prophecies" The definition of a self-fulfilling prophecy in psychology is that negative beliefs predict negative behavior (or problems in life). Surprisingly, the psychological explanation of a self-fulfilling prophecy is not that positive beliefs predict positive events, that would be the Power of Attraction I think. In other words, what you believe will come true because you will subconsciously and consciously act in ways that cause the event to happen. Self-fulfilling prophecies are powerful, and real. Do research if you feel like it and some of the real world examples can be quite intriguing. I hope all goes well with you, I would hate to think that something negative could happen because you prophesied it would. Peace and remember that to the world you may be only one person but to one person you may be the world, so no self fulfilling prophecies of doom. |
