Topic: Dating sites are for guys only really | |
---|---|
When it comes to dating sites, I think the dating sites are made for guys. They are lucky if they can catter up some women so we can click around and send messages.
Most women don't really need any dating sites whatsoever. It's a good place to chat and talk and hang out with friends, but women would just fine without any dating sites whatsoever. I think there are far less single women than single guys. If we would filter out all the women here who are actually really looking for someone I would say about 20% of the women would remain here the rest could be easily just put into the yapping section. Have fun blasting me away. |

I think women need dating sites too. A lot of women are tired of being groped in bars by loser drunks so this is a safe medium for them.
Also so many women are raising their kids with basically no help so they don't have time to go out. |

I hate to have to agree, esp with the women having less trouble than the guys finding a relationship. Census claims that their are 8% more single women than men east of Mississippi, and 10% more single men than women west of Miss. And Wyo. hasd 15% more men than women. And guess where I live

I don't drink too often and i have children at home...so where would i go to find a descent man that really wants to get to know me and not just have sex with me? I think the single mothers would have a hard time dating, we have to arrange a date so we can get a sitter. I think it's just as hard for women as it is men.

I haven't been single since I was 23 and now I'm 34 with a 4 year old son. I rarely get time to go out. It's kind of hard to meet a man at the grocery store. lol |

Those are the ones who claim "guys sux so bad" or "i don't understand why I'm single". For guys..it's not a matter of choice, but a matter of acceptance. If you are accepted then it's like winning the lottery really. That means, you just got hand picked out of the millions of others you have left behind who were your formal competitors. When it comes to women, there is really no competition between them. Each of them have a "harem" of 100-1000 guys who are interested, they just have to browse through the choices, like browsing through underwears in Victoria's Secret. |

I would say there are way more men than women on dating sites, so I can see what you are saying. I just had another run in with yet another flake ( not from here) this one said I would love to talk to you on the phone, I hate texting. So I sent her my number, she writes back on the site, I'll just text you. Ok so she texts me we go back & forth about 5 times & poof...never to heard from again...WTF

bet your odds of "meeting" someone on a dating site would go wayyyyyyyy up if you won a big lottery and posted the link to the news story on your profile, and used your real name....lol

I don't think it really matters what a guy says in his profile. You might as well leave it blank, no one believes a word of it anyway. The trick in meeting women on a site like this is the content of your letters. How you speak to them and how much respect is behind the content of your words is more important to women than your looks or what you say about yourself in a short bio.
So, when you have the knack for saying the complete wrong thing, like me, you tend to be "single" for a while. |

See: The real dating sites are not dating sites topic. |

Is this a guess on your part? I have to tell you that there is no "Harem of guys" that I have on reserve to browse through. Shoot, I am lucky to get one email every other week from a guy. And then he types something stupid like...Hi sexy. I am seriously looking for my last partner in life. One that is deserving of my greatness. And that is not an alcoholic, liar. So far after over 2 years here that hasnt happened yet. So tell me, what are you going to different than the hundreds of other guys to prove to me and the hundreds of other women on this site that you are worthy of our loyalty, trust and respect? See, now I will have just eliminated another 5000 guys that would have been interested in me because I spoke my mind. I hear tell that guys do not like that in a woman. |
