any graph, poll, statement can be turn to present what you want to present...if latino's actually responsible for 42 % of terrorism in our country, why are they so against enforcing the immigration laws?

if they were latin citizens doing this, wouldn't it fall into the left wing group?
don't believe everything you read, it can be biased to get whatever opinion they want to put out there.

It's just really comical when you think about it.

Look at the democrats agenda.. Amnesty for Latinos and Environmental regulation..

Placating the 2 largest groups of terrorists.. Its priceless..

They weren't on the list, but I am sure if you give the left wingers time they will figure out a way to unleash them on us here. They had no problem using them during the waco siege..

It must have been a right winger who created the list unless right wing terrorists are considered the other 16 percent. Militias are right wing, abortion doctor killers and bombers are right wing, religious killers are right wing, etc....

So it doesn't appear to be accurate at that level.

This is a PERFECT example of it.. haha

The milita is neither left nor right. It's been a staple in America for 200+ years.

this study is pretty lame actually.

i agree that there have not been many attacks by muslim extremists
here in the US but that has been changing as evidenced by the
world trade center attacks, and the recent aircraft bombing attacks,
and the NYC car bomb attack.

although the radical islamists have not been wildly successful at
attacking us - they have still been responsible for one of the worst
attacks ever - and the most recent large scale attack in 911

and a report such as this is skewed and i would argue disingenuously
so as the authors undoubtedly are aware of the fact that islamic
radical terrorist attempts are on the rise currently in the US and
of course they are also aware of the significance of the World Trade
Center attacks - but the authors ignore and downplay the implications.

bad scholarship.

although the risks of islamic radical terrorism are relatively low
in the US right now - this is due to our own vigilance and policies
not because of lack of trying by the terrorists.

worldwide, islamic terrorism is responsible for the overwhelming
majority of bombings of innocent civilians. that the US has been
relatively difficult to target and effective in thwarting many
attacks does not diminish the threat posed by these religious
neanderthals.

Good post. The "pie" chart apparently organizes threats in a way to deliberately distort reality. There may only be 6% threat from proper US citizens, but that is meaningless to the actual threat. The members of the group who planned and executed 9/11 were not US citizens but they used lax US immigration law to come here and work unseen. If one includes the world wide sources of support for Al Qeda, the Taliban, etc., the actual threat to US citizens by foreign nationals who have a little financing is far different. The OP is simply propaganda.

There are scenes of people dancing in the street with the death of US citizens. This is the source of most terrorism.

LOL!!! This must be a joke. You think terrorists little bombs have killed more civilians than US/British strikes? In 2010 alone, more than 1,000 Afghan citizens were killed in Air strikes. Add that to previous years, and you can see that the Islamic terrorists have nothing on the US/British military in terms of killing innocents.

There is a difference between purposefully targeting and killing civilian non-combatant men women and children as a means of political protest (terrorism) and engaging in an armed conflict (warfare).

But I am not surprised that you do not know the difference.
If you think about it hard enough it may occur to you.

Actually, you're wrong. It seems I've studied the subject more than you have from your post. I'm very aware of the difference, that's why the old saying "terror is the poor man's war, war is the rich man's terror" is so true. You'll find plenty of videos of "purposefully targeting and killing civilian non-combatant men women and children" if you look into the history past and present of American warfare. wikileaks features some videos that will change your mind.

I am well read concerning WWII and your comment has nothing to do with this thread. You post some of the most inaccurate information on Mingle2. It is you that cannon distinguish between obvious politically motivated distortion and reality. This thread is an excellent example. Or perhaps you just post false information for the fun of it.

Statistical data can be used to prove or distort almost anything depending upon the context. The data presented in this thread is so far disconnected from the premise promoted as to be meaningless.
