JERUSALEM – U.S. Senator Joseph Lieberman says there is a broad consensus in Congress that military force can be used if necessary to stop Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
Lieberman cites a recent set of sanctions passed by Congress against Iran as a potential deterrent. But he insists that the goal of keeping Iran from becoming a nuclear power will be accomplished "through diplomatic and economic sanctions if we possibly can, through military actions if we must." The Connecticut senator spoke Wednesday in Jerusalem, where he was visiting with fellow senators John McCain of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. Israel, the U.S. and other Western countries accuse Iran of trying to develop an atomic weapon. Iran says its nuclear program is for civilian use. |

of course Israel stirring up like they always do. Neither America nor Israel has any proof of their claims. If it happens it will be the end of America and Israel both.

ABUJA, Nigeria – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says that the U.S. is a "dictatorship" as it tries to control world affairs.
Ahmadinejad made the comments Wednesday night during a speech at the Iranian Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria's capital. He is in Nigeria for a summit of an organization known as the D-8, or the Developing Eight nations. In full, Ahmadinejad says the U.S. is "the self-proclaimed leader, and everybody should know that a self-proclaimed leadership is (a) dictatorship. I am going to say, on behalf of you, that the years of dictatorship are over." Nigeria, a nation of 150 million people, is split between Christians and Muslims. A large crowd of Muslims filled the embassy for the speech. more yahoo... |

if whatever his muslim name is wants war, i say lets go...i notice he didn't say that it was a dictatorship when he was in new york... Where do you plan on getting the money for another war? Looking to go into debt to the China? The Chinese have heretofore been generous benefactors, but there's no guarantee of that if the US regime starts another war (war being the greatest debt-generating activity with the fewest returns). |

Ahmadinejad has some balls to call the US a dictatorship when I watched them slaughter their own people after the last Presidential election. |

Lieberman is living in a fantasy world, just like the entire media and the government.
Go ahead wage another war, actually go ahead and bomb the entire middle east to dust, it won't solve a goddamn thing. Like this suppose to help in anyhow. I fcking hate people like Lieberman or Dick Cheney, bunch of apocalypse scenario freaks with limitless greed. And of course, this site is full of people too, instead dealing with their own problem, they rather live in a fantasy world too. Naive, and selectively looking for news suiting their agenda, never look at the other side. Go ahead post another war with Iran thread, nothing is gonna change even if 99% of the people vote for a war with a country they can't even point out on a map. |

Hate to break it to ya, bit China announced they are broke......financial section last week or the week before.... I'm not referring to their Cash reserves. I'm referring to the US debt they hold. The Chinese central bank could crush the Fed's dreams in a flash by getting rid of its dollar reserves. (releasing dollars into the economy would devalue the dollar and crush the Regime's buying power-as well as the buying power of all dollar-users) |
