Oh yeah ... the 'next big thing' is already in existence: STATE-APPROVED HAIRCUTS ...! Iran's 'culture ministry' (the ultimate oxymoron) decides how Hajji can wear his hair now - and he better not even THINK about a ponytail ... but gel's still okay ... Quick show of hands: How many of you wanna move to Iran in order to experience the full range of MuzzieJoy over this degree of control over personal freedoms? Nobody ... ? Daaaaaaaang ...

Ponytail for men gets the chop in Iran

From: NewsCore July 05, 2010 11:29PM

IRAN'S culture ministry has given its blessing to a number of "Islamic" haircuts for men, with ponytails failing to make the list.

Iran's ILNA news agency and other agencies carried pictures of mostly clean-shaven male models sporting short hair, some styled with gel, in a "journal of Iranian hairstyles approved by the ministry of [culture and Islamic] guidance."

"The proposed styles are inspired by Iranians' complexion, culture and religion and Islamic law," said Jaleh Khodayar, who is in charge of a "Modesty and Veil Festival" later this month where they are to be promoted.

"We are happy that the Islamic republic of Iran's government has backed us in designing these hairstyles," she said.

Iranian police carry out regular morality crackdowns, arresting and warning women in figure-hugging short coats and flimsy headscarves as well as men sporting spiky hair and tight, low-slung jeans.

The Islamic veil is mandatory in Iran, which sought to keep defiant urban youths properly covered since the establishment of the Islamic republic over 30 years ago.

Several barber shops were reportedly shut down and penalized in recent years for offering "decadent Western cuts."

Conservative clerics called for firmer action against un-Islamic dressers, and hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad came under fire last month for expressing opposition to a tough police crackdown on immodest attire.

Kinda reminds me of the movie Demolitian Man when Sly wakes up to a world where everything is dictated and your every move is monitored. Getting a ticket or going to jail for dropping the f-bomb, sex is against the law they have to use virtual reality headsets to have sex, you have to goto a lab to get your seamen screened to reproduced, all restaurants are on franchise Taco Bell, guns are completely outlawed and found only in museums...... Oh hell that sounds like what Obama wants to do to us.......

Although it would be worth is to see Biden constantly getting arrested for his constant swear bombs. laugh
