Topic: Top Movie by Genre, What's Yours? | |
---|---|
What is your favorite film and what genre does it fall under (action, romance, drama, horror, suspense, etc.) Why is it your favorite?
Mine is Grindhouse: Planet Terror which falls under the Horror Genre. Robert Rodriguez did a superb job of directing it and with the characterization of it. Plus, the whole aged film idea and doing a vintage style horror film of the grindhouse age was fantastic. And, the character of Cherry Darling, a chick with a machine gun for a leg... phuckin' bad*** and kinda hot too! TWO ! |

I have a few favorite movies..
one of my favorite comedies is The Ref.. with Denis Leary, Kevin Spacey, Christine Baranski.... Hilarious, full of one liners...with a fair amount of truth throughout the entire story, comedy line of it. |

Jaws (only the 1st one)
House of 1,000 Corpses Saw (the first 3) Horror! I hate chick flix! My middle ground is movies like Brooklyn's Finest, Green Zone, Crash, Law Abiding Citizen, and I recently saw Knight and Day. I suppose these are action/thrillers. I don't like all action movies. I am not remotely interested in the Bourne or Mission Impossible franchises. |

I don't do any TV and not a big movie fan, but Shawshank Redemption was a great movie. I can't stand horror films... I can't handle the violence, even if it is fake. If I want to see violence I'll watch the news or some war coverage. I like a movie with a happy ending... |
