Do you like "Safe and Sane" or "Unsafe and Insane?"

Me, "Unsafe and insane!"

If it don't make a lot of bright lights or go "BANG" with a lot of authority I feel ripped off!

I like a Big Bang! Then again I like a lot of big bangs!

I hate them!!! Not only do they scare pets but bring many bad memories to us VETS that have served in War. I would love to see them become illegal except in public displays they ae a waste of money and dangerous!!

I'd like fireworks better if they weren't so noisy and stress my cats out. Thankfully for me though Homeopet makes anxiety drops for thunder, fireworks and loud noises that I'm able to give to my cats, and it works pretty well.

Unfortunately, I can't load my photo off this computer. My Sunday morning consisted of peroxide, and purple iodine powder to Gentry's (the young one) chest as he had run into and tore himself up on some part of the fence. The worse gouge is more like a hole, and I'd guess he may have come down somewhat on the post. They rest are crisscrosing lacerations. Fortunately not deep enough for stitches, but a mess just the same.

Our neighbors had the bigger cannon sounded fireworks and went on and on. Ran out a bit later to pick up tetanus shots at the local Tractor Supply Company to stick him with. Also took care of minor nicks on the other animals as well. They were all jumpy this morning.

And I still have another night or couple to deal with this, as its guaranteed they'll be firing 'em off again. So, I'll be up late, hoping that crosstying the horse up near the house will help minimize anymore possible damage.

I totally agree with Mikey on the need to limit their usage. Between what it does to the animals, and the fact that around here, it's prone to setting property on fire, and convienently, not their own, I'm tired of the stress and crap of dealing with the aftereffects of them.
