Topic: Surprising, indeed. | |
---|---|
Yesterday, I called AT&T to find out how much it would cost me to end my contract early. Instead of the 30 minute rigmarole they usually give, the guy just asked for a minute to find out and told me.
Then just now, I called my cable company to cancel a few extra channels I had free, and again was not bugged to try to keep things that I didn't want. Very surprising. But very pleasing. Maybe they've finally decided to stop annoying people. |

I don't think so. It actually ended up being less than what the guy on the phone told me it would be.
I know they decided to be jerks and get rid of their unlimited data plans and go to a small one and a big one. Which sucks for people like me that are constantly on the internet doing things with their phones. |

I'm sure it happens to them quite a bit in this economy, so they probably figure they haven't been gaining any ground trying to talk people into keeping extras because money is tight these days for a lot of people.

When I got my phone, the guy was trying to get me to buy this extra stuff with it to use that way with my laptop and I was like dude...my laptop hardly leaves my apartment..and when it does, there is wireless to be connected to. I don't need your money making schemes. |
