you had a bf or a gf and they lived 4 hours away from you, how often would you want to see them and talk to them on the phone?

WoW we could text everyday...........See one another on our days of hopefully
 that would be hard so e would need to figure something out!

Depends on how serious it would be. Id say at least give them a call every night just to wish them a goodnight. You dont have to talk for hours...just a simple good night would do And probably visit every other weekend.

4 hours is not that far to travel....every other weekend would suffice in the beginning.
now the phone, that's depends on a lot of different things each circumstance is unique. i should think it would be frequent at first at least until the bright and shiny wore off a bit. |

I went through working out of town often, but got to see him just about most weekends. Probably went about 3 weeks w/o seeing talked probably a couple times a week before bed.

From July of last summer until early May of this yr my girl friend lived 2.5-3 hrs away. I believe it was a at least a couple times a wk.
Now she lives 15 minutes away and we see each other quite a bit, and call often too. |

Time away from your lover/bf or gf can be your best friend or your worst enemy..........The phone is just a long distance oral fix, 4 hours is just a very, very small thing and should NOT be an issue for love.........Just my opinion.......Good luck

Actually, I prefer a long distance relationship.......It gives me the time to myself that I need and fills the voids of having someone around too.........just not long enough to stay on your nerves....you know what the saying is....distance makes the heart grow fonder (I really understand this)........If they aren't around enough for what you love about them to start becoming annoying......then they never become annoying......

I used to date someone who was six and a half hours away, we saw each other every weekend for about eight months. Each of us alternated which direction we went.

I wouldn't have a girlfriend that far away, but if I did, I would want to see her atleast on the weekends, or every other weekend. We would be talking on the phone everyday. There would be constant texting too. |
