My dad was a flawed man who tried to do right by his family but never quite succeeded. He died in 1994 and I'm sad to say that while I mourned his passing because he was my dad, it had very little impact on my life because he just simply was never a big part of it. I loved him and believe he loved me....just wished we would have been closer. I am a lot like him though....stubborn, independent, impatient, forgive easy but forget nothing and I love fast cars!
