Just pulled my new (used one week)charcoal sheets out of the washer and tossed them in the dryer. Now I have sheets that are PINK, or maybe it is one of them lavender/purple things. Not streaked, just plain pink. The pillow cases stayed charcoal. I even followed the washing instructions (shock)...warm water, gentle cycle, only soap no bleach. I bet my bed gonna look really macho with pink sheets and black pillowcases
"Yes honey, I like PINK sheets with charcoal pillowcases, I don't think it's weird. I think it is sooooo romantic" |

Just explain to them that the reason your
macho sheets are no longer so is that you accidentally added your hot pink underwear to that load. |

Take them back with your reciept or just grab some rit dye in black and re dye them. With all the poly in the sheets they should come out dark grey again. Use the boil method to get a better color saturation and double the ammount of dye recommended to get a dark grey or black. Once the sheets are dyed, rinse them in cold salt water. About a box of salt non iodized should be a good ammount for a medium washer size of water. Then dry in the hottest heat that the sheets recommend. Good luck. |
