when at home and we get the after noon heavy rain, my son and I would get out and play and sometimes swim.... I love thurnderstorms but we have to stay inside for that one.

I hear ya bro!!! We have been taken it in the shorts here in the Midwest!! I love storms BUT enough is enough!!

love em. expecially when the power goes off actually... when my kids were little we lived out in the country with a transformer on a pole on our road that time forgot. So the power would go out at least 2-3 times every spring/summer. We would get all the candles and dress in 18th century farm dress, and play "Little House On The Prairie" So fun! We would go outside and cook over an open fire - soemtimes even if it was still raining as long as it was feasible - we would read by candlelight to pass the time, and talk about what life was like before electric lamps, TV and dishwashers! My ex came home one time & we were in the middle of this routine and he was a little flabbergasted (i think because dinner ws not ready) but I think secretly he thought it was neat

during electical storms with a lot of lightning, I feel getting recharged like an energizer battery.

Yep, makes me hyper. Bouncy, bouncy, bouncy. Then I go for a walk in the woods and check out the little creeks and waterways that pop up, and sit under a cedar tree and watch it rain. Though sometimes it makes me sleepy. I'd love a big front porch to kick back on a doze and listen to it. Love it, love it, love it!

love them... i used to sit out in the backyard when i was a kid in noreastern texas and watch every stom that came through... saw some of the neatest cloud formations ever there, including raining fish once... its very true, it really did rain fish, live ones.

Of course I did not check the weather, and apparantly there is thunderstorms in the forecast for tomorrow... I never brought home the anxiety drops for my poor cat who is scared to death of them...
