I just made some lamb chops with mushrooms, and a mushroom fell on the floor. Before I could pick it up, my cat ate it. It wasn't a big mushroom, but I was wondering if they're OK for cats to eat.

Not a cat person but most annimals can eat them as long as there is no seasoning that they are allergic too!!

They were store bought, and cooked with the lamb, which is why I think he ate it, more because of the lamb than the mushroom. Thanks for the link plastic.

I used to do lots of "shrooms and it never hurt me, didn't even stunt my growth

i think they can have any veggie or fruit.. well i know dogs can is what my vet said.. veggies are her treats. she is fat lol.. i would just make sure it isnt something acidic that is not good for their skin..

..who cares ..its a cat..DOGS RULE.... When I brought a german shepard collie mix home and he spied my cat. Went up to sniff the cat. Well the cat nailed him right in the nose. Cats Rule Dogs Drool.

He's OK. I think he found a new hiding spot, I was looking for him earlier, but couldn't find him. I just saw out in the hallway, he just sat there meowed and disappered again.

Cats are mainly carnovors, so they can't live off of vegitables. Grainfree diets are the best. But a little veggies here and there wouldn't hurt them. I had a cat who would eat peas.
