Most of the replies come from geographical areas hundreds/thousands of miles from NYC. Why? Does the site not pay even the slightest attention to the criteria in "basic" searches? Donald White

Did you try putting in your zip code? Seems you can even put how many miles away you want them to be.

That works for the searches, but I don't think you can control who responds to your forum post or who can search YOU.

Welcome to the forums, DonaldW. As noted above, you can select a radius for your Searches. Also, you can prevent contact from such members if you set your email filters.
