Exclusions are always limiting.
They reduce the available pool of prospects
until you swim alone.

You can drown that way.

Some people have no tact..the way others word their their opinions isn't about us. I do feel tact is an important quality...it's falls in line with integrity, is a part of having intgrity.

I've seen profiles where it's said..."I hate kids, I don't wanna hear about your brats".

A simple.."I prefer to date, meet women/men without children." is sufficient here, yet one feels it's important to stress the dislike as if the message isn't clear enough without it.

I'd rather see when people show their ignorance through their profiles. It helps avoid alot of wasted time.
Like when getting a message, always check the profile before responding. In just a few words, a person can change my mind in 2 sec. flat.

Kinda reminds me of the song from the 70s:

{quote}

And the sign said "Longhaired freaky people,
Need not apply",
So I tucked my hair up under my hat,
And I went in to ask him why.
He said "You look like a fine understanding
young man, I think you'll do."
So I took off my hat and said,
"Imagine that. Me, working for you."

I guess I just wonder if the person whose profile that was will feel the same way when she is over 45?

Looked at another way, what if employers started posting jobs with that kind of language?
