Well geez, you should go prosecute him, if you can get the conviction. But experianced federal prosecutors offered him a deal, rather than take him to court. And they have gone after Enron executives with a passion, so we know they aren't using the kid gloves. The CFO SHOULD know that stuff, but we don't know the facts. And if he's smart, he probably arraged things, so that he couldn't be nailed for anything. Besides, the CFO is responsible not to stock holders, but to the CEO, so I don't think that anybody can sue him anyways. The men and women who KNOW the facts decided that they probably couldn't convict him, so I'm going to say that they know something that you don't. |
