i think for me if they are good i just enjoy and continue to talk. without any suspicion. however if it was a negative feeling..and there was a lot of good i continue to talk.. and perhaps i was wrong about the bad feeling.. however am way more cautious then.. I feel if nothing is wrong why assume there will be something wrong.. hence.. I guess my pick is neither or depends on the situation..  OOGABOOGABOO! Suspicious yet? |

After the first contact (email or real life)...good or bad, do you 1. Decide that is who they really are and keep them or get rid of them 2. Keep it in the back of your head and keep an eye out to see if they are different First impressions are everything to me, especially the manner in which they approach me (ie, introduction, grammar/use of slang, etiquette, etc). If they don't care enough or take the time to represent themselves well then I see that as an indication to their personality and possible relationship habits. Lethargy and apathy are not favorable characteristics. |

fear.. its always best to know exactly how it is than to be bothered by guessing.. jmo... and i know what you mean.. for i am blunt.. and it pisses people off..sometimes i think it shocks them.. even though very clear.they are shocked and still wonder "why" i guess i wish more people would just be like this.. oh well im used to being different..im glad to be different..or so called..it is a part of me that i feel unique.. sure i can change my mind and am open.. however it does take conversating about it.. and a learning process.. to me.. speaking your mind shows strength to learn, to grow, to challenge yourself mind you...and not just go with the flow and be a follower.. blah!!!!!to me following all the time is a settler and so NOT unique!

First impressions are important. I may not completely stop talking to someone because of a bad first impression, but it's going to take a lot to turn that around.

no two people are just alike.. that should be accepted.. in my eyes anyway.. what is important in a relationship rather it be friends or romance the respect of really knowing that person inside for who they are and accepting them for that.. the truthfulness.. not having to guess who they are.. is i believe a key factor.. and realizing that no one is perfect.. not even yourself.. that there is always room to grow, and improve yourself and change things that makes you happy about yourself is really the only thing you can do.. for discussion or the changing of your mind only comes from knowledge and experience.. <of your own> not someone elses..
