Why try to talk about the real world we live-in.
When most could care-less about all of its sin.
Well after four years here, and trying to see clear.
I think its because, I still have faith in us ALL.
Many come on here, to leave their real world behind a wall.
But I just KEEP waving, higher and higher, voicing tall.
IF we RUN AWAY, from all that we fear and don't know.
How can we talk to others, how can WE grow.
Its in places like this, that we need to be real, and show.
So we can TRY to slowly step-in,,to know, WHAT SIN?
The drugs our kids use everyday, that beer they puked yesterday.
That hooker on your corner who also has HIV,
She could be sleeping with your son, while your watching TV.
That nice Preacher down the street, who likes to play with feet.
Or maybe your neighbor, who asks your daughter for a sex favor.
How about your son's best-friends dad, who punches him, when he's mad
This place, is where we dream and joke, not come here and poke.
YET, we carry covers on our eyes, for the ones lost in their cries.
If I leave this place behind, WHO shall remain behind, to remind?
Who will speak with passion, to show others their human compassion.
I love all of man kind, but TRUTH has to be spoken to help remind.
Remind us ALL that WE HAVE TO HELP, WE HAVE TO KEEP TRYING.
It starts with our kids, and what has MANY crying.
THIS PLACE can carry the message of, HOW WE CAN ALL TRY TO BE.
More of what GOD intended us to be, safe, loved, and free.
YES, I do Preach-on, but its not just for me, its to help YOU SEE!
YOU don't have to love GOD, just LOVE, EVERYONE AROUND YOU.
SHOW THEM you do CARE, show them you can SHARE, YOU everywhere.
Make others FEEL,,through your words here, that living, is REAL.
WE DO NEED TO HAVE PRINCIPALS AND STANDARDS TO BE WITH EACH OTHER.
Show them that its TOUGH to be a SINGLE MOTHER!
Show them that ITS MEAN to laugh at someone because their different
Show them that love STARTS INSIDE THEIR HEART.
And SOME, bad words to others, rip them apart.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE, SHOW YOUR PREFERENCE.
READING your words here, speaks volumes to the ones there.
