Islam is just as dangerous. India has had a long standing relationship with Russia while they were communist and many impoverished people see it as an easy way to a better life.

Communism is a great idea but mankind's heart is not ready for it at all. People are still too self interested and greedy. I also have met Untouchables who came to America and prospered where they would have been forced to live as untouchables in India thanks to the Caste system.

I personally feel India is way to overpopulated and that in itself is breeding more poverty and aggravating the whole change India needs to make socially to advance to the 'next level.' I am so surprised at how India is such a nation of Contrast. One one side is an India of affluence and innovation. On the other is the dirt poverty of it.

At least India is not the squalid hell hole the middle east is! I respect India becasue it is a nation that is gradually making peaceful changes (unlike China!) and is trying hard to improve itself for its people. Again though is the contrasts.

Change is not easy. Change is not quick all the time. But Change also is the only constant in life.

Communism is a good idea? Now I must ask exactly how you know about it, as your assertion isn't backed well by history. (check out The Black Book of Communism sometimes) It's more of a utopian theory than anything practical.

I agree-the Caste system, as I understand it, is quite brutal and repressive.
