THIS is just one more reason why I want to slit my wrists when I listen to the Birkenstock'd 'environmentalist / ecology' crowd ... they have NO interest in mankind, but their smarmy oozing of smegmatic sympathy for our 'furry / finny friends' makes 'em positively squishy with sensitivity ... I'd just as soon take a baseball bat to 'em ...
Here's what their idea of a 'priority' is in CA - a state that's virtually bankrupt, but which evidently has enough money left in the public coffers to build a 'Fish Ladder' ... that's right - a FISH LADDER ... Keep in mind that the "Environmentalists" who strive to use the State to steal from you are "Green Tomatoes" (green on the outside, red on the inside), not true environmentalists.

Well that the state. And a better idea then my city came up with. Were getting a trail along a polluted river. When they cant maintain the parks they already have. They claim they cant spend the money for they fire dept. layoffs or the schools. Because the money is coming mostly from the dept. of transportation.

Before the recession, the people voted for these bonds. The bonds can only be used for these type of projects. I don't know how it works but what else can they do when it was voted on before hard times hit? The bonds cannot be used on other types of projects.
