There was this fireman washing his firetruck just outside the station and he noticed that a little girl with a firefighter's helmet on as well as a raincoat and a pair of rubber boots. She was sitting in a little red wagon. The red wagon had a little ladder attached to each side of it. And there was a tightly coiled garden hose attached to the back of the wagon.

The fireman walked up to the little girl and said, "Wow! that's a nice firetruck you have there!! It's got ladder, as hose and everything!"

"Why, thank you," said the cute little girl.

Then upon closer inspection, the firefighter noticed two strands of rope coming from the from the front of the wagon. One was attached to a dog's collar and the other was attached to a cat's testicles.

"You know," the fireman said to the girl, "I bet you can make that rig of yours go faster if you were to tie that strand of rope to that cat's collar instead of where you have it now."

"I know," said that girl. "But then I won't have a siren."
