Do you consider spray painting art?
Is some tagging art but other kinds vandalism? What's the feedback? |

it's art if it's ok with the owner of said property

So, in your opinion, something cannot be both art and vandalism?

I consider it art
spending alot of time in NYC I see alot of the most beautiful art work on buildings-trains.... Are they allowed to be there? No but it gives us a chance to escape the city life for awhile and look at an artists beautiful imagination |

If I saw these images around town it would be art, however the illegible gang letters you see are ugly and make the places look rundown. It also depends on where they are oddly enough, if you saw some of these images painted on the side of a beautiful marble building with roman style columns in front with landscaping, they would probably be washed off.
However if you see artsy images like these on the sides of run down buildings downtown, they actually make the building look better I think. |
