Thank you for the link. I am aware of what it is and treatment.... I am just wondering what others actually experience and what has worked for them. |

Still am but not ADHD. I'm classically Hyperactive. Pot works, Ritalin made me a psychotic mess!
I never out grew it. I could care less. I come off like I am in my low 30's to everyone's surprise! No one wants to believe I'm 44! I love not looking my age or feeling like it either! |

Do you have it? Symptoms? Treatment? Meds? The possibility has been suggested to me by someone who is definitely qualified to give such a diagnosis. I prefer to think of it as a really, really short attention span. |

I prefer to think of it as a really, really short attention span. I don't think of myself having a really short attention span, but really tired from going around in circles. My son's doctor made a comment about me possibly being ADHD, because of losing my son's script and being treated for depression with no luck. But it costs hundreds of dollars to get tested! UGH! |

Do you drink caffeine? Do you meditate?
|

Do you drink caffeine? Do you meditate? Drink caffeine.... no effect on me. I drink diet pepsi. Occassionally coffee. Caffeine has never affected me. Meditate occassionally... not regularly but I like to. |

Before medicine I would suggest one month without caffeine and 30 minutes of daily meditation.
Even if caffeine has no apparent effect it couldn't be harmful to stop for a month if attention or hyperactivity is a noticeable issue. |

I have gone months without drinking pop... no difference in atttention. As for meditation, I don't really have racing thoughts like some people with ADHD. I could try it... it wouldn't hurt. |

It's one of those annoyingly simple answers but the effects can be overwhelmingly beneficial. Meditation is free and very good for you.
Just don't meditate incorrectly or it will cause blinding pain. |

Are you still in school? Being a single mom, having a bf, and being in school is a lot to have on one's plate. Single moms can lose a script once in awhile. We have don't just have one life in our head. We have two lives there - two schedules. My friends say that moms get a disease called CRS - Can't Remember S*it. |
