 Hi folks,
Does anyone else live in a field? My field has a nice view is very private. I even get the grass cut for me. Yet I am close to all amenities

i live in a field...in a field of dreams...yet to be realized..

each passing night..the field shrinks...

i am afraid, that one day...when i awake, there will be no field of dreams..

A field? By chance are you outside of America? A "field" in the US is akin to an open pasture for animals, a meadow or agriculture.

If you mean "property" or acreage with a home - out in the country - I used to live on a 20 acre horse ranch. I loved living on that property. We were 5 miles from local stores and 15 miles from downtown nightlife!

My cave is dark, I live next to some crazy old guy that thinks he is a bear...not sure how I feel about that living in this cave, but makes for interesting conversation.smokin

34 acres here, 20 wooded, 10 pasture and now about 4 acres as part of the yard.

15 minutes from town, 30 minutes from Dallas and still to close to people

Hi to MelodyGirl
Yes it is a field. A large area of grass, about two acres in all. I have a nice view up the hill over the corn fiel to the spinney. An even larger field next door is home to a large herd of cattle and sheep. Wonderful. Who needs a brick box in a city?

Sure do. Across the road is a mesquite thicket with lotsa paddle cactus, barrel cactus, horse cripplers, spear grass and stickers too. (My fave)

Got plenty of bull snakes to eat the mice, and field rats and rattle snakes. Wouldn't trade it for anything......except for money.

I have lived in a field, but not anymore. You see, back when I lived in a field things were different. I was young and dumb... joined a gang called 'Field People.' Instead of guns we carried pieces of plywood, we made crop circles with them. Instead of gang signs we used grains of wheat shaped in a F and P shape. It was a much simpler time, one filled with saw grass and lemon trees. The only thing we feared was urbanization. Anyway, times change, and so do people... I guess what I'm trying to say is don't build it, you'll just be wasting your time... "they" won't come. "They" never come.
