yea i have a 1992 saturn and it is making a really bad ratteling noise
around the belts

Take it back to the dealer, wear something slinky, and don't forget the
high heels.

Tell him it's making this strange noise somewhere down there.

That should get his attention and that puppy should be fixed in no time.

belts have tensioners....or they also call them pulleys...those are
probably on there way out. they maintain the tension of the belts...they
could be just loose too! hope this helps!

oh and when you look under the hood with him, bend over really

t yea i replaced all the pulleies and the belt someone told me that one
of the lifter on my cam could be bad but i wanted to get some opinions
on it first

Hi; I would check for pfay in the water pump shaft or on one of the belt
pulleys

yea i just replaced the water pump on it but one time it sounds like its
comin out of the valve pane cover then another time it sounds like it in
my pullies

maybe the mice that run around in that little wheel that turn your
motor, got loose?

now not only do you have to fix your car, you have to buy mice food as
well.

to narrow where it is coming from take a solid pipe or rod and put to
your ear and move it around to different places until you hear where the
noise gets the loudest dont let it slip and get caught in any
moving parts be careful

If all of your cylinders are firing then it's NOT a bad cam lobe. What
size motor do you have?
