I’ve been in a relationship from meeting someone on Mingle – and many others have as well. There are quite a few marriages that were a result of Mingle meetings.

The forums are the best way to meet people rather than just trolling the profiles. There is about a 10-15% chance of success of getting a reply if you email someone. Unfortunately, mutual attraction is rare. Also, if someone isn't interested the rarely reply for fear of getting "hate mail". I've sent polite "no thank you" emails only to get back seething, hateful emails. Ignoring someone is not the polite action to take but when dealing with strangers on the internet - and their angry outbursts - sometimes it's the safest action.
