Hey! - You have your reminiscences and I have mine!
I'll give you fair warning though and post the Title - Performer. Would never want to be responsible for eardrum piercing!  So far we have: Get Up - Ciara ft. Chamillionaire (dance tune) Buttons - Pussycat Dolls with Snoop intro (posted twice by accident) Lose Yourself - Eminem (this was supposed to be the 3rd one)  and Walk Away - Paula Deanda (recent pop music) I don't really consider any of these Hip Hop like NAS except maybe Lose Yourself but I didn't post the link right for that one! Besides it was really mainstream. Great song though.... Hip hop from the 80's?   That generally does not get me nostalgic...whoa... If you want really old stuff that reminds me of someone, I dedicate this one to her...Sometimes only one person can make you feel a certain way... Other music that makes me reminisce is anything by Led Zepplin, Neil Young Harvest, after the goldreush, or his song Cinnamon Girl (guy involved of course) and the original Jefferson Airplane especially Surrealistic Pillow & Triad. Oh, Deep Purple
Then again David Bowie Ziggy Stardust & the Spider From Mars - did some pretty hard partying to that one.... a lot makes me reminisce - I've been around for awhile |
