Graduation for Angel's daughter was tonight and even though I have known her for only a year and a half, I was really proud. It was a weird feeling, because I have no biological kids, but tonight as I saw her sitting there with honor graduate gold on, I couldn't help but feel proud.

Angel was beaming the whole graduation ceremony and rightly so. This is an expensive private school, and she has struggled for years to keep her daughter enrolled there. I am not a big banner waver for private schools, but Brandi has been there since K4 and despite all of the difficulties Angel has faced, she managed to keep her there.

So tonight I sit here a little buzzed and proud of two very important ladies in my life. One who is getting ready to embark on life long journey and one who has finished her job of getting her child through high school.

Now after we get Brandi moved into college and started on her way. I think her mom is long overdue a cruise!

Yes, I consider myself one of the luckiest people on earth! Even though at times it seems like I think I'm not, I love Brandi as if she were my own! And of course I love Angel, as I told her once, I loved her even before I knew she existed! "I knew I loved you" by Savage Garden is even our song.

Better hurry up and take that cruise before the entire planet is covered in OIL!!!

Yeah I saw tonight that the leak was A LOT more than what they estimated....the government wrong? Oh like that's new!
