This story is kinda sad, I will warn you...my cat (well, one someone dumped here a few months back) had kittens in a dog house beside my porch (put there in the winter for the cats to get into). She had 4 kittens...all white, 3 girls 1 boy. I found them in the dog house and kept an eye on them at a distance for fear the mother would move them and then I couldn't find homes for them because they would be wild. Well, the little boy kitten got to where he would get out of the dog house and lay under the bushes. I kept putting him back for fear ants would get on him or one of the other cats would hurt him or somthing. Well, sadly, something got him :( I found him further on the side of the yard where something had apparantly gotten him and half consumed himtears yeah, I warned you! Made me heartsick. It was the only little boy. Anyways, I was afraid whatever got him would get the others so I had to bring them inside. I have the mothers trust and I have been taking them back and forth onto the porch for her to nurse and Peccy got me some stuff to make a formula with to feed them at night. I think they are old enough to survive. Two have sick eyes, but other than that they seem fine. Here are some pics I took of them. The biggest one looks more cream color than white...like a siamese. The other two are all white except for a little black patch on head.

I was up 'til 3 am taking the kitties back an forth out to the porch for mama to feed...I figure that is much better than artificial formula...the mama seems to be taking good care of them when she is in the basket...but when she gets out and goes wandering I worry that something will get them so I wait until she is thorugh feeding them and then bring that back...had to put them back out at 6:30 am...and 10 am...whew...Im tired lol...But they are doing well.

HA! Yeah, I have Chihuahuas that OWN this house...but even they realize that these are helpless babies. I will put a bullitin up at my vets office, I am sure I will find them homes...they are real cute.
