Rainbow similar to before China and Chile quake seen over Los Angeles
Tweeker ![]() While no one can be sure what it means, people should always be prepared for a major Earthquake in Southern California as it is seismically active. http://www.theweatherspace.com/news/ 05-13-2010-Rainbow-similar-to-before-China-and-Chile-quake-seen-over-Los-Angeles.html |

I think there was also a 'rainbow' similar to this in the Italian quake ... and, like y' say, SoCal is seismically active ... hell, all of CA is an earthquake waiting to happen. I hope they don't have to find out the hard way that building that nuke plant on top of an active fault line (Diablo Canyon) wasn't a good idea ...

That one is coastal and on and I mean straddling a fault line. Yeah hoo! |

Actually San Onofre is just south of Morrow Bay CA. The one and only legal nude beach is there in CA. Now the reactor near Seattle? That one is a leaker already. From what I understand an area of the Sound is off limits due to the contamination. I also understand the worms there are unusually huge possibly due to the radiation. If San Onofre gets whacked the whole Pacific Coastline is effed! The pollution will not be stoppable nor remediable. Nuclear power is not bad, where you put the reactors is though! |

I drove by Hanford about 15 years ago and it looked pretty decrepit then. I remember a reactor on a man-made island just off the coast of Ca. I forget where it's at. |
