Well I like that there is a little bit of everything here. The forums here are MUCH better than other dating sites I've seen. I like that they are moderated and people can't attack each other or just curse up a storm. I also like how you can block certain forums you're not interested in viewing. I would like to be able to block certain people so I don't see their postings but besides that I think the forums here are better than most. Ohh, me too. I would like to block certain people so I don't have to read their postings. Great idea! 
Sounds like something FB could help them learn to do eh?

You know, this thread gives me hope. Honestly.
Cuz it reassures me there really ARE posters, plenty of them, who aren't just into (tongueincheek Lisa LOL =) who'd bang who above them, or anal sex or whatever. LOL And you are right Kristi. Definitely cyclical. But so many answer that they like thought-provoking threads

Honestly I love the Well wishes thread when someone needs a prayer or pick me up, Mingle folks come in droves to help Us when we are down or just need a nice word!!!

That is very true. Since I've been back my most 'trafficked' thread was when my kitty lost her way home and was gone for 24+hours. The people who posted caring thoughts and prayers and advice were amazing!

Also, I think we should merge Politics with Sex & Intimacy, so we can ask stuff like "Would you send 128,000 illegal immigrants to the person above you?" |

sad to say, i admit loving a good troll or two. it's cheap entertainment and far better than most shows on t.v. these days.
i think admin should through a few in the pot and give free upgrades to the person who spots and reports the most. |

and of course, ultimately, it is .... What would you like the forums here on Mingle to look like? I have been a member of Mingle for a few years and have seen some dear friends come and go. Even took a year off myself. I find the 'community' feel is not so prevalent as it used to be. But then unless you were here back then, you wouldn't know the difference. So what type of threads do you find you gravitate to? Just curious ........ 
The morbid threads are fun, for me anyway. That and the 'nice guy' threads, those are fun because they give me a chance to hunt. Really, the forums are kind of bland since we lost a good few people here, but I make due with what I have.

On that other site I mentioned I've turned in over 2 doz scammers .. every single one's profile is deactivated within 10 mins of me calling Admin on them .. OOOh OOOOH I wanna PLAY!!!!!

I'd change the color scheme. And the furniture needs to be moved around to shake things up a little.

The one i miss most is the "do u hump your bed?" thread!!!!! It was thought provoking, insightful and DAMNED helpfull in picking out a new bed!!!!! It made U look at beds in a WHOLE new "differrent " light! 
mikey and i thought it was tips to make your blow up doll look better in candle light..

I hear ya girl. By changing it I mean more for your own life, not everyone else's LOL ie .. if the forums aren't what they used to be either tweak some expectations, or just find another pasttime 
One does have to accept what you can't change. But dang it all, it is fun to live in the past 'good times'
