I'll try here....Just a question for all of you...I have been chatting
with someone and
talking to him on the phone (our phone calls last usually 2 to 2 1/2
hours)...How long before we should meet? I think the sooner the better,
to see if we can maintain the spark...? What does everyone at JSH say

That depends, how long have you been interacting with each other? Things
may appear to be one way but you never know. But if you and he feel
confident then do what the two of you think is best.

well we both think we should meet...i guess i'm a little afraid of
rejection.

go someplace neutral and public, preferably a town where neither of you
live. one time i met a girl from a dating site by an art museum. i don't
actually remember what we did. it's gonna suck when i get old...

Yes I agree...the sooner you meet the better...then you can really see
if there is compatability....nothing worse than talking for 6 months and
then meeting...and find out it doesn't exist. Not that it was a waste of
time...but think it has the possibility of leaving bad
feelings Hope it works out for you

don't be afraid of rejection! (this coming from a guy who is rather
terrified of rejection...) go for it! just be smart about it.

My gut says go for it. Meet a public place (coffee?), have people know
where you are going and have a time to get in touch, put on your
favorite lipstick and have a blast!

I say go for it

Meeting in person ASAP is a good thing to let you know whether the
feelings you have online is the same when you get to see the person in
the eyes. There are lots of loop holes online, only if you have proven
that the person you are talking to is really sincere then thats the time
you wont mind thinking about lies. Establishing good communication and
trust is important. But to some, an online relationship that would last
for a year might be at risk, the "love" you felt might frizzle, so
meeting in person the soonest is better but still, if circumstances
arise, you may extend the wait.
