I have had some success and some failures on Craigslist, in their personal dating section. But, for the most part, the responses are: spam, scams, frauds, "bots", "safe dating" solicitations, and other internet dating "come ons."
I am curious as to whether any other Mingle2 patrons have used the personal section of Craigslist, and their results. |

I am curious as to whether any other Mingle2 patrons have used the personal section of Craigslist, and their results. LOL yea i have met a few that were nice and talked to one guy awhile back that claimed every woman loved him and he was sure i would fall in love with him he stated he had a great job insurance and so forth but his attitude stunk he even said i dont know why you dont hang up on me. i should had but i was trying to be nice....i deleted his email after that. didnt want to hear from him again there was a post in there awhile back that i ended up reporting for there was this lady that posted that her brother was in jail and just wanted someone to communicate with. i had email her to ask why he was in jail but al li got back was the adderss and his full name. so i decide to look at the inmate roster as to find out hes been in prison for 18yrs for freaken rape and there was a dang pic of him with his daughter.. omg that was crazy and his own siser was proud of him |

no but i looked on there like 3 yrs ago and only talked to someone never met him though.. only once though..i did notice.. not many attractive my age.. i have to at least like their nose or something
 and what i saw... hummmmmm well ill leave it at that.. humm maybe i should of tried younger lol!!!  oh saw some great legs in dresses! and they were hairy lol!! i wont mention the other things i saw! ha ha!!!

Craig's List doesn't have a good reputation to begin with but it seems the "seedy" types would use that site and cloud the divisions of the dating section vs. the NSA section. I don't think online dating is demeaning; however, just like everything else in life there are better venues in both safety and quality. I like Mingle because I can interact with people in the forums as well as communicate via messages. To each his own … You asked and I gave my .02

But, let's face the music, I would not categorize this as a site where people are likely to have a face to face meeting. So, in that regard I would have to agree with you about the safety aspect. However, many adults NEED and WANT more than stimulating conversation. So, we have to channel other sources. To each his own … You asked and I gave my .02

I haven't ever and wouldn't ever use Craigslist.. I've met plenty of people from here and have dated someone from here long ago...
I'm not sure why you think it's not likely that people would meet from here, there are quite a few marriages that have happened from Mingle/JSH... |

I will come rite out and be honest. I just got done doing a 30 month sentence on a drug charge. I am clean and sober and doing life the rite way. I gave up on most of my old friends and am looking to find new positive people. After being incarcerated for a few I am ready to get out and do some good clean fun. This is going to be a most awesome summer. Life is great and getting better. I am a teddybear at heart. Positive attitude. All around great guy. E-mail back. Put "Life is good." I have met and dated several members from this site as well as many girlfriends. Everyone has different experiences. Mingle is a successful dating a social site for me. On your other point, "eww"
