I've never had any allergies and this year I am feeling it too..I've heard it said that every 7 years one can develop allergies that were never experienced before. If that's true then I got em now. Mostly sneezing and watery eyes..a bit puffy. Kind of annoying, something new.

Mikey, not sure how warm it is where you live. You aren't using a window fan are you? That will pull the pollens right inside your house!!!

One word: Adaptogens! Go get a master herbalist blend thereof at your local health shoppe ... Plenty of info online ... I've worked these in the clinic for yonks, completely efficacious! Deliver yourself from the misery! Edit ... And, yep, local honey is an adaptogen in and of itself, as well ... took the words right outta my mouth, honey.... |

And, the funny thing is that this is $100 an hr advice, and they're steppin' right over it, still whinin' and discussin' symptom treatin' drugs ... I grow weary ... |

So honey huh? I knew there was a reason I love that stuff. One question though. I'm still finishing the honey I bought at the farmer's market last october- will that still be effective?

I've never had allergies before, ick. What about using a saline spray ( i bought it for my son, but I've been using it over the last few days, seems to work well) |

I've never had allergies before, ick. What about using a saline spray ( i bought it for my son, but I've been using it over the last few days, seems to work well) Well, it is good in a pinch ... And, think of your nasal, sinus cavities as a downhill, huge football field ... ... There is one tiny, narrow exit out and up to your nose, against gravity ... When you use a Neti/Netty Pot ... You wash out that field and the trapped mucous can make its way out at last ... That rubbish stuck in the sinus cavity, and against gravity to escape, is WHY sinus infections are so rampant w/ allergies ... See? Look into the Adaptogens to beat it for good! http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=neti+pot&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 |
