What book were you reading, Equus?

The 14-Carat Roadster by P. Howard (or Jeno Rejto - Hungarian author).

Funny, quick read, kind of a just how much trouble a person can get into type book.

I was so bored I just watched the "time travelers wife"

That book sucked.

I'm up, just finished reading a book, waiting to get off work.

i didn't read the book, but i liked the concept of the story

The concept was interesting, but hard to follow, and rather brutal.

What kind of books do you typically read, Equuss?

kc - I absolutely loved that link. That poem hits me hard at home. That was just great.

I'm a couple posts away from linking the Anthony Hopkins reading of "Fern Hill" by Dylan Thomas.

I never read much of anything by Bukowski; but that spoken piece was amazing!

I'm a Pagan, literally, and more specifically an eclectic shamanic practitioner, spiritually.

I was raised Agnostic and Eckist. Always interested to hear what people are into. The reason I ask is that a lot of books on that list seemed to have the common thread of spirituality.

I'm genuinely worried everyone fell asleep in the last ten minutes I spent talking about poetry on another thread. Hehe.
