Well I'm at the dr's but not for me... Lol. Couldn't get thru today for an appt.. Why would you need to see the doc? Your back?

Yes, it was ok for a couple of days but starting to hurt again..

The back dr said the only conclusion he can come to is that it's a torn disc L5 but to be 100% sure he would. Have to perform a discgraph and it's extremely painful and he'd rather not put me thru that.. Normally I get epidurals. Every 3-6 months but I've been putting it off b/c it's quite expensive..

Joy, seriously...try an acupuncturist before putting yourself through all the other stuff. If it doesn't help, so be it. But I know someone who was facing a second back surgery who had acupuncture done and avoided surgery altogether. I also had nerve damage to the nerve that runs from your big toe up the top of the foot to the ankle. Podiatrist said either live with the pain or we can cut out the damaged section, but you won't have any feeling in the top of the foot. I didn't like those options, went to the acupuncturist, and haven't had an issue since. That was over 3 years ago...
