Anyone have a favorite Harley? Mine is a 1974 shovel lowered with drag bars.

Surely you JEST ~ My first HD was a '74 Shovel!!! I love the compression...ba da dum, ba da dum, ba da dum...sounds like my heartbeat.My last was an '82 FXR SuperGlide II (shovel, of course...)

I like the 1980 sturgis also, chromed not blacked out

AR, I grew up riding "old school"...rigid frames, everything that didn't move was done in flat black, cases in black "wrinkle"...baked in our very own ovens, to be sure.

XR750 or 1200. Now that is a hell of a bike from Harley. Mert Lawill is making recreations of that old wonder. I also love the 'ole girly bike - the tried and true Sportster.
