When I was a kid we had: Thundarr The Barbarian Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels Jabberjaw Dungeons & Dragons Hong Kong Phooey Dynomutt Speed Buggy and later Count Duckula, Star Blazers, Robotech and Saturday Morning Live-action shows like: Ark II Jason Of Star Comman Land of the Lost Krofft's Supershow Shazam/Isis Hour Space Academy Seriously 3 channels of cartoons/kid's shows from 7AM to 12PM- could never watch them all. Yep, I watched all of those. But you forgot about GI Joe, Transformers, Superfriends, HeMan, Robotix, and The Herculoids. I actually also grew up watching Ranma 1/2 but it wasn't on normal TV over here. There are some good ones today, I suggest: Avatar Ren and Stimpy (older episodes, the new ones are just gay sex) Invader Zim Shin Chan Sealab Frisky Dingo Harvey Birdman Venture Bros. |

I was never allowed to watch ren and stimpy either. It wasnt that great of a show anyways. I totally disagree, it was one of the last good animated shows on television. But the Ren and Stimpy shorts that played at the Sick & Twisted Animation Film Festivals before it went to TV were even better. |

I miss the old Tom and Jerry cartoons. Part of me dies every time I watch the new series (it just lack something) Thank god for Teletoon Retro.

All Grown Up kinda took away part of it though. It was less of that magical child innocence and more of the typical teen drama.

Everything now is either a Teen Drama, Child friendly, or some product placement (mostly japanese kid animes).

Hey this might be showing my age
but today... After some heavy days of finals and papers I had to write.... I laid on the couch..... Lit a joint ...... Hit up hulu and watched 4hours of the Flintstones!!!!! HEAVEN!!!

The Flintstones never get old. I'm constantly recording episodes onto DVR from Boomerang.
