One to post much about myself. But I feel I must do this. I made a VERY dear friend here, and I feel as though I have lost him.

I feel as though my actions has caused our friendship to go sour, which I am sure many can relate to.

I talked to this special person every night. I knew he wasn't looking for more, but after 6 months, I had hope. That hope did nothing but guide him away.

I want to apologize to him and to tell everyone else, just because you have a friendship with the opposite sex, doesn't always mean it will lead to more.

I am sure many know this, it is just something I learned after all of these years being single. I had hope. I am human, what can I say.

Anyway the reason of this post is to help others in like situations and to admit I lost a great friend because I am stubborn...

Sorry, things didn't work out for you. I've made a male friend from the beginning & neither of us is interested in a relationship & have talked for about 2 months. We just BS around & can talk to each other if we're having a bad day. I don't even begin to read anymore into it than that.
