a newly released U.N. report states that the pakistani gov. failed to provide effective security for former pakistani prime miniser Benazir Bhutto upn her return frm self-imposed exile in 2007. the report also accused the pakistani government of deliberately not fully Investigating the attack. the government of pakistan immediately blaimed the pakistani taliban for the assassination. while the taliban was probably had some role in the assassination it is also likely that the pakistani intelegene service (isi) also had a hand in the assassination. the report states "The commission believes that the failure of the police to investigate effectively Ms. Bhutto's assassination was deliberate," and "These officials, in part fearing intelligence agencies' involvement, were unsure of how vigorously they ought to pursue actions, which they knew, as professionals, they should have taken." for more information see

well of corse but im glad to hear the U.N. say it. now the whole world knows what the isi is all about. just one more in a long series of cases pakistani state terrorism.
