It would take forever to make any progress on Mingle 2 sorry not everyone is gifted with good looks and gets responses from 10 messages in one day. Is there a reasonable explaination behind this thinking?

cobra331,

Indnprncs is correct. The reason for the limit is due to scammers. I understand it might be inconvenient, but it is necessary. This site works very hard to eliminate scammers.

I'd like to add that it wouldn't take forever... People that get involved in the forums are in contact with a lot more people than those that just send emails...

Why not put a more logical limit to it say 30 or 40 messages that way it increases the chances of meeting someone in as little time as possible, oh wait I guess thats not good for business its a free site therefore the site makes money from the bogus advertisements and the longer it takes to find a match the longer your on the the site which in turn is a key thing to tell who ever advertises on the site. Anyway catching what I'm saying here? Or is it basically I shouldn't expect to meet anyone through this site then in the near future is that what your saying? You act like I don't make any sense at all

I think it's more like; you've made 2 posts, both of them negative... Why don't you socialize in the forums, have a good time and get to know people.. It's way better than emailing random people.. OR you can upgrade and have your pic first and get noticed that way...

I also think that a scammer/spammer sending out 30 - 40 emails a day would annoy the hell out of most members and we appreciate the protection we get from them even if that means it takes you or anyone else a bit longer to get your loads of emails out...

I've been a member of this site since it was just say hi which I think is about 2 or 3 years give or take and I've never even noticed anything about these forms and I've only met 3 women off this site. Ok how about this then I spend time searching through profiles what do you think about having the option to save where you left off in your search and some way of telling if you have already contacted a person previously.

Why would I even think about talking on a forum usually you just look for answers to questions on a forum. How do you go about meeting someone in a forum considering that I doubt the forum allows you to search for people in your area that have posted a comment on the forum. I always thought forums were places to voice your opinion be it positive or negative

Its kinda funny though most of the people that have posted pics with people they met on this site all seem to be good looking people and of course good looking people are going to have no trouble meeting people to post a picture in that forum. What about the people that have to rely on more then their looks and have to communicate with as many people as possible to have remote odds of getting even one response. For example I'm also a member of other free sites which don't have a limit and I have sent out 50 to 75 messages in one or two nights and I got like 3 reply's.

What do you mean when you say "well when you find the rest of the forums. you should keep your negative to yourself."

This isn't exclusively a "dating" site, it's a "social"
community. Also, the forums aren't just for asking questions.
Imagine a huge houseparty, minus drugs and alcohol, with all
kinds of people from all over, walking around talking to
whomever they come into contact with, asking questions, joking
around, exchanging jokes, stories, personal details and such.
People come and go, talk to you or not, some you might never
see again, some you might continue contact with as friends...and
some you might get to know and have a relationship with...and ya
got Mingleland. flowerforyou

We don't limit you to ten messages per day; the limit is on new contacts. Once you've established a communication relationship with someone, you can email them as many times as you please.

As others have noted, the limit is to protect our members from scammers/spammers. We're here for people to seriously connect, not to send form letters out to hundreds of folks in a day.

Should you have any questions, please let me know.

Be well,
