I wish I could actually make that offer . Right now I'm under the gun myself, the insurance company for my house wants to see pictures of my thermostatically controlled heater... that isn't quite completely installed yet .

The insurance company didn't like the fact that I did not have a thermostatically controlled heater and did not want to write the policy. I convinced them that I was in the middle of a remodel and that a new thermostatically controlled heater was a priority on the list. They were getting impatient so I told them it was done and had my bro-in-law make up a receipt. Guess they didn't buy it The heater is in now (as of 3am this morning LOL) I just have to get the thermostat installed.

Yeah way LOL, large piece of property with a very old very small house. Developers want to put on a bigger house, it's cheaper if the house is already gone.

Excuse me?! what the hell kind of carpet cleaners do you have there! Even the meager addition of applying some stain remover before cleaning does a lot toward removing the stains and works completely in some cases. You'd think at least do that, it's easy. If you'd know you could have done that part yourself before they arrived.

I did the other day and the stains didn't come up so I called for the carpet cleaners... I had to call the office and even they said "what the hell"... They're cleaning them.. There were only a few I mean REALLY!

Oh wow... Kind of interesting though.. Guess the developers aren't getting the land

Nope. In a way it was funny the way I found out. I had a guy just show up at my door he was looking to buy properties in the neighborhood (he did get one, just not mine). Offered me 350k. I told him no my grandfather built the house and so I wasn't interested in selling. He said "If something should ever happen to the house, like a fire or something (not that I'm suggesting anything), and you want to sell, give me a call I can offer you more". After a couple annoyed stares at him on my part, and some other apologetic explanations, he explained why the property was worth more.

That's wild Davey.... Good if you ever want to sell or something happens...
